Varuna Roadlines Pvt. Ltd. operates from the top floor of a building in Sector 17, Rohini. Being up here gives us a bit of a view of the New Delhi streets below. It is mostly quiet inside, except for the sound of the phones. We deal with road transport, which means we spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking on where trucks are. Rohini is a decent place to work out of, even if the traffic in Delhi can be a real headache sometimes. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to sit and get the work done. We usually have a lot of charts and lists pinned to the walls to keep track of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use the backup. It’s a lot of routine stuff, day in and day out. We drink a lot of chai while we wait for updates on deliveries. The neighborhood has some good food spots if we need a break. We don't really go for big speeches or fancy meetings. We just try to make sure the goods get moved along the roads like they are supposed to. It takes a bit of patience dealing with all the different rules and stops along the way. We’ve been at this for a while and we just keep going.
