Our place is in the Naraina Industrial Area, specifically in Phase-I at C-114. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how crowded it gets with all the delivery vans and people rushing around. The building we are in is quite sturdy, but the stairs are a bit narrow. We spend most of our day inside handling whatever comes our way. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. Most of the space is taken up by the things we handle and some old metal shelves. We try to keep things organized, but it often gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a busy week. The air outside is usually thick with the smell of the nearby factories, but we’ve grown accustomed to it over the years. We usually have a small kettle for tea in the corner because going out every time takes too long. The lighting inside is a bit dim in some spots, so we have a few extra lamps plugged in around the desks. It is a basic workplace where we show up, do the hours, and then head home. No one here wears a suit or anything formal like that. We just wear whatever is comfortable for the day’s work. It’s a very straightforward environment where the main focus is just getting the orders sorted.
