Our place is in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase II. The unit is A-105/2. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a massive maze of factories and offices. It’s always crowded and there’s always someone moving something on a cart. V-Tech Flow Components is right in the middle of that. We handle a lot of flow components like valves and fittings. The office is really just a part of the warehouse. We have shelves stacked high with metal parts. It’s a busy environment. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the stock against the manifests. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving boxes around, and the floor is concrete. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. It’s just the owners and the staff getting the orders ready. The tea man comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. It’s hot in the summer and a bit drafty in the winter, but we don't mind. We just focus on getting the right components to the right people. It’s a no-nonsense kind of business. We’ve been in Okhla for years and we don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon. It is what it is, just a regular shop floor and a small desk area for the paperwork.
