If you are looking for us, we are on Dal-Mil Road, right near the Uttam Nagar West Metro station. Being so close to the metro means there’s always a crowd and the sound of the trains is something you just get used to. J K Paying Guest is basically a home for people who need a place to stay while they work or study. We have rooms and beds and we try to keep the place tidy. It’s not a five-star hotel, it’s just a regular building with people living their lives. We handle the cleaning and make sure the water is running and the lights work. Every day there is someone new asking about a vacancy or someone moving out. We spend a lot of time in the common areas or checking on the kitchen. The neighborhood is very busy with shops and food stalls everywhere. It’s convenient for the residents because everything is right there. We have some rules to keep things peaceful, but we aren't too strict. We just want everyone to get along and respect the space. Sometimes the plumbing acts up and we have to call a guy to fix it. That’s just part of running a PG. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up to a long day. We are just local people providing a spot to sleep.
