Indian Food Cooking Classes

Indian Food Cooking Classes is based at B-61 Sanjay Enclave in Uttam Nagar. It is a simple setup in a kitchen where we show people how to cook the kind of food we eat at home. We aren't professional chefs with fancy degrees. We are just people who know our way around spices and want to share that knowledge. The kitchen at Sanjay Enclave usually smells like toasted cumin or fresh ginger. We have enough stoves and pots for everyone to get involved. It isn't a formal school. You come in, wash your hands, and start chopping onions or grinding spices. We talk about how to get the flavors right as we go along. We like it when people ask questions or even when they make a mistake, because that’s how you really learn to cook. We’ve had all kinds of people visit us, from neighbors to people from different parts of the city. It’s a busy place most of the time. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because someone they know told them about the classes. We use simple ingredients that you can find at any local market. The whole idea is just to help people feel more comfortable in the kitchen. It’s a warm and noisy place, and we just enjoy making a good meal together.
