Cool Air Systems

We’re tucked away in Matiyla Village Extension, right behind the government primary school in Uttam Nagar. Being at No. 29 makes it a bit of a walk from the main road, but the locals know where we are. Our shop is usually packed with air conditioning units in various states of being taken apart. There are copper pipes and gas cylinders everywhere you look. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful not to trip over anything. During the summer, it’s absolute chaos. We’re out on calls most of the day and then back here late at night cleaning filters or checking compressors. It gets sweaty and tiring, but that’s the job. The school kids walk past every morning and make a lot of noise, which is how we know it’s time to start the day. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms and fancy vans. We just have our tools and a couple of scooters to get around. Most of the time, our hands are covered in grease or dust from the units we’re fixing. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. It’s a bit cramped, but it serves us well. We just try to keep up with the repairs as they come in and hope the parts we need are actually in stock.
