Our office is on the ground floor at H-21 in Lajpat Nagar-1. Being on the ground floor makes it much easier to move boxes in and out without dealing with stairs. New Delhi is always moving, and Lajpat Nagar is one of those places where it never really stops. We handle a lot of the worldwide shipping stuff from here. It’s mostly desks, phones, and a small area for storage. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or fancy coffee. We just focus on getting the freight moving. Some days are purely paperwork, making sure the export and import codes are all correct. It’s a small group of us here. We know the tea stall around the corner better than we know our own kitchens because we spend so much time at the office. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, but that is just part of living in Delhi. We handle logistics because it’s what we know. We aren't some big faceless company; you can just walk in and talk to us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but we’ve stayed put at H-21. It’s a good location for us because of the connections to the rest of the city. We keep it simple and just do the work that needs doing every day. Our desks are usually covered in manifests and delivery notes.
