U.P. Motors

U.P. Motors is located at Shop No. 746 in Damodar Bhavan, which sits in Chotta Bazar in the Kashmere Gate area. This part of Delhi is famous for being a hub for everything related to motors and cars. Our shop is just one of many in this crowded market, but we have our own way of doing things. Damodar Bhavan is an old building, and our shop is tucked away inside. It’s a small space, so we have to be very organized with how we stack our boxes and parts. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of oil and old metal. We spend our days talking to mechanics and other shop owners who are looking for specific engine parts. We don’t have a big marketing budget or any fancy signs. Most people know us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to Chotta Bazar for a long time. It can be quite loud with the honking of horns outside and the shouting of vendors. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively. Sometimes we have to dig deep into the storage to find a part for an older model that nobody else seems to have. It’s a simple, honest business. We show up, open the shop, and help out whoever comes by. That has been our routine for as long as I can remember. We just stay here and get the work done every day.
