We are over at Fc/B-1 (Extn.) in the Mohan Co-Operative Industrial Estate on Mathura Road. It’s the same block as some other businesses, so it gets pretty crowded with all the staff and the delivery bikes. Since we are a biotech company, we have a lot of lab equipment and cold storage units that hum all day long. It isn't a very large space, so we have to be really organized with our samples and chemicals. The commute along Mathura Road is probably the worst part of the day for all of us. Once we get inside, it’s a bit more peaceful, though there’s always someone running a test or writing up a report. We wear lab coats most of the time, which can get pretty hot when the air conditioning isn't hitting the right spots. We don't have a marketing team; we just focus on the science and the data. Some of the equipment is quite sensitive, so we are always telling people to watch their step. We’ve been in this industrial estate for quite a while now. We know the guards and the guys who run the canteen nearby. It’s just a regular day of looking through microscopes and checking spreadsheets for us. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important work and we just get on with it every day. We usually head home once the paperwork is finished.
