Umrao Industries

Umrao Industries is located at 500/20-D/A/1-E in Vishwas Nagar, Shahdara. This part of Shahdara is quite crowded with lots of small lanes and workshops. Our place is tucked away in one of those areas, and it can be a bit tricky to find if it’s your first time visiting. The building is a bit old, and we’ve been here for many years now. Most of our day is spent in the workshop area or the small office space we have toward the front. It’s usually quite loud because of the machinery and the general noise from the street outside. We have a lot of tools and materials scattered around, as we’re always in the middle of some project or another. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, but that’s just how it is in an industrial setting. We don't have any receptionists or fancy waiting areas. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the work area and find us. The local tea shop delivers to us twice a day, which is a highlight for the staff. We’re just a group of people doing our jobs in a busy part of the city. We don't worry about looking corporate; we just care about getting the orders finished. The paperwork is piled up on an old wooden desk in the corner, and the light switches are a bit finicky, but we know how to handle them. We close up the shop early on Saturdays to get some rest. It’s a long week but the work is steady.
