Alig Aluminum Fabricators

Out here in Tughlakabad Extension, specifically at RJ-2677/28, you’ll find our workshop called Alig Aluminum Fabricators. It’s usually pretty noisy because of the cutting and the metal work we do every day. Aluminum is what we handle most. We’ve got stacks of frames and sheets piled up in the corners, sometimes making it hard to walk around. It’s a dusty place, to be honest, but that’s just how fabrication goes when you are working with metal all day. When a customer comes by, we usually have to clear off a chair or a workbench so they can sit down while we look at their measurements and drawings. We make windows, doors, and whatever else people need for their houses or small shops. Sometimes the measurements are tricky and we have to go back and forth a bit to get it exactly right. We aren't a big factory with robots or anything like that. It’s just us using our hands and the machines we’ve had for a long time. The street outside is narrow, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just focus on the work in front of us. If someone needs a frame fixed or a new partition built, we get the tools out and start. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we’re checking prices for materials. Most of the time, we’re wearing our work clothes and covered in metal shavings from the morning shift. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down and we lock up.
