Galeno Lights

Tilak Nagar is always crowded, and our spot at No. 4A/18 is right in the middle of that noise. Galeno Lights has been tucked away here for some time now. We spend our mornings unboxing different fixtures and checking bulbs to see if they survived the trip. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have boxes stacked almost to the ceiling. Sometimes customers have to squeeze past each other just to look at a lamp. We do our own repairs at the back bench where the light is better. The street outside is usually full of people looking for hardware or food. We know most of the other shop owners on this block. There is a tea stall nearby that keeps us going during the long afternoons. We aren't a big showroom with carpets and glass walls. It is more of a workshop where things actually get fixed and tested. You might see some dust on the higher shelves because we can’t always reach them every day. Most of the time, we are just busy with wire strippers and screwdrivers. It’s loud, it’s messy, and the overhead fans always hum a bit too much. But this is where we work. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the market. If you need to find us, look for the small door near the corner. We are usually there from early morning until the shutters go down.
