You’ll find Threex Electronics down in the basement at 1164/8 in Naiwala. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, but it also means we don't get much sunlight. We don't mind it though. We’ve got plenty of lights and enough work to keep us from noticing the time. We mostly deal with electronic components and small parts. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find bins full of resistors, capacitors, and things most people wouldn't recognize. The stairs down to our shop are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying a heavy box or a tool kit. Naiwala is a famous spot for spare parts, and we’ve been part of this ecosystem for quite a while. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to stock as much as we can on the shelves. We spend a lot of time sorting through tiny pieces and checking orders. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. There’s a lot of dust that settles on the shelves, no matter how much we clean, but that’s just how it is in an old building like this. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; people usually come to us because they can’t find a specific part anywhere else. We just keep the inventory organized and try to help whoever walks down those stairs. It's a steady life for us down here.
