Three-X Electronics

Three-X Electronics is located in the basement at 1164/8 in Naiwala, Karol Bagh. Being in a basement means we don't see much of the sun during the day, but it stays a bit cooler down here when the Delhi heat gets bad. Naiwala is a very crowded place, famous for all the spare parts and workshops. There is always the sound of horns and people shouting right outside our door. Our space is filled with wires, circuit boards, and various electronic components. It can look like a mess to someone walking in for the first time, but we have our own system for finding what we need. We use old wooden shelves and plastic bins to keep everything separated. The lighting is all fluorescent, which gives the place a specific kind of feel. We spend a lot of time hunched over workbenches with soldering irons or testing equipment. It’s a small team, and we mostly just focus on the technical side of things. We don't have a big storefront with glass displays. Most of our visitors are people who already know we are here in the basement. We’ve been in Karol Bagh for years and have seen the streets change, but our little workspace stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit cramped and the air can get a little stale, but it’s where we do our work. It’s not for everyone, being underground like this, but we find it keeps us focused.
