Technician In Igl Chhatrasal Cng Stn is where I spend most of my time these days. We are located right at F -263 Phase 1 Vijay Vihar in Sector-5 Rohini. If you know Delhi, you know how busy it gets around here. Working at a CNG station means things are always moving and there is never really a quiet moment. I grew up around here, so staying in Rohini for work made a lot of sense. The station is a bit of a landmark for people driving through. My day usually involves checking on equipment and making sure the gas is flowing like it should. It isn’t glamorous work, but it’s what I know how to do. The office, if you can call it that, is just a small space where we keep our records and tools. Sometimes the weather in Delhi makes the job tough, especially in the peak of summer or when the rain starts pouring down in Phase 1. We just get through it. There are a few of us who have been here a long time now. We don't talk much about any big goals. We just make sure the station keeps running. You’ll see us in our uniforms, probably looking a bit tired by the end of the shift. Vijay Vihar is a decent place to be based. We're just regular people trying to make a living at the station. We don't have much else to say, we just keep working on the station.
