Swami Dayanand Hospital

If you know Shahdara, you know how busy GT Road gets. That is exactly where we are located. It is a very loud and active part of the city. The hospital has been a part of this landscape for many years. There is always a line of rickshaws outside the gate. Inside, it is just as busy. We have a lot of people coming in from the surrounding streets. The floors are worn down from so many feet walking on them over the decades. We try to keep things organized, but on a busy Tuesday morning, it can feel a bit overwhelmed. Our staff tries their best to keep up with the paperwork and the patients. We don't have a website with bells and whistles or a PR person. What you see is what you get. The waiting area is usually full of families talking or kids running around. It is a community space as much as it is a medical one. Sometimes the power flickers or the fans squeak, but we just keep going. It is a tough job working here because the demand is so high. We see all kinds of cases. People know us because we have been here forever. It is not a glitzy private clinic. It is a hardworking hospital on a very busy road. We just try to manage the flow and help people as they come in. It is a constant cycle of work.
