Swagattam Plastics

You can find Swagattam Plastics over at Asia House on KG Marg. It’s an old building with a lot of history. We are in unit number 3. It’s a very central location in New Delhi, so getting here is easy, but parking is a nightmare. Most of us take the metro to work. Our office is filled with samples of different plastic parts and raw materials. It’s a bit dusty, honestly. We have been in the plastics business for a long time. We don't do any big fancy presentations. Usually, a customer comes in, sits down, and we look at some drawings or samples together. We have a couple of old desks that have been here since the start. There is a small pantry in the back where we make tea. The walls are covered with calendars and old charts. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure the factory side of things is running on time. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes things go wrong with the machines, and we have to spend all day on the phone fixing it. We don't have a big team, just a handful of people who know the business well. We just try to be practical and get the orders out on time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do and we do it well.
