Our office is at S-521 in Greater Kailash II, which is a pretty well-known part of South Delhi. Being Suzuki (India) Ltd., people often expect a giant factory, but this is more of an administrative spot. It’s a standard building in a busy neighborhood where parking is always a bit of a nightmare. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of talk about car parts and service schedules. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with dealerships or dealing with the technical side of things that the public doesn't usually see. The rooms are filled with folders and technical manuals for different vehicle models. It’s not a flashy place with neon signs; it’s where the actual work of managing the brand happens. We have a small kitchen where we make tea, and that’s usually where the best conversations happen about how the week is going. The traffic outside on the main GK roads can be heard throughout the day, reminding us how many of our cars are actually out there on the road. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a group of people working together to keep the wheels turning, literally and figuratively. Some days are slow and we just catch up on filing, while other days the phones don't stop ringing from nine to six. It’s just how it goes in the auto business when you are trying to keep everything organized for the whole country.
