Suryaa Garments

At Suryaa Garments, we work out of House No. 54 in the Wz-Block of Todapur. It’s a bit of a residential area that has turned into a place for small businesses like ours. The space is basically a few rooms where we have the machines set up and some tables for cutting. It’s not a big factory, just a local spot where we get things done. In the mornings, the street is pretty quiet until the workers start showing up. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day. There is always a lot of humming from the sewing machines, which becomes like background noise after a few hours. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the address on the door. Boxes are often stacked up near the entrance waiting for the courier to pick them up. It gets a bit tight when we have a lot of fabric delivered at once. Sometimes we have to move the chairs around just to find space to walk. We just do our work, fix the machines when they break down, and try to keep things organized. It’s a humble setup, but it’s where we spend our whole day. We know the people living around here well, and it feels more like a home than a stiff office. It is just how we manage to stay busy all year.
