Surya Solar Power Company is on the first floor at No.1/22 B on Asaf Ali Road. Being in this part of the city means we are right in the middle of all the noise and the crowds. Our office isn't very large, but we have enough space to show people the different types of solar panels and batteries we work with. There is always a layer of dust that comes in from the street, so we spend a bit of time every morning wiping down the desks. We spend a lot of time talking about the sun and how much power we can get from it. It is a lot of technical talk mixed with practical advice for people who want to save on their electricity bills. We don't have any flashy displays or sales pitches. Usually, we just sit down with a client and look at their roof size on a piece of paper. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you’re carrying equipment up. We have a small staff who knows a lot about how these systems are installed. On Asaf Ali Road, things are always moving fast, but in our office, we try to take things one step at a time. We just want to get the solar setups right so they actually work when the sun comes out. It’s a busy life but we enjoy it.
