Suraj Bhan Sunil Kumar & Co. is located at 1490, 1492, and 1493 Pipal Wali Gali. We are right in Nai Sadak, which is part of the famous Chandni Chowk area in Delhi. If you’ve ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know how busy and tight the lanes are. Our place is spread across a few different numbers in the alley because we needed more room over the years. Pipal Wali Gali is always buzzing with people and rickshaws, and it can be quite a challenge just to walk through sometimes. The buildings here are very old, and ours is no different. The walls are thick, and the stairs are steep and uneven. Inside, it’s mostly shelves packed with stock, and there’s a constant layer of dust that comes with being in such an old part of the city. We don’t have air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that hum loudly while we work. It’s a traditional way of doing business where things are still written down in ledgers sometimes. We’ve been here for a very long time, and the family has always run things from this same spot. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and it’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just life in Chandni Chowk. We don't try to change how things are, we just keep going like everyone else in the market. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we know.
