Working out of 1A Mig Flats in New Kondli isn’t exactly what you’d call a high-rise office experience. It’s a flat in Mayur Vihar Phase-3, so it feels more like a home than a business most of the time. We have files stacked on the dining table and the balcony is where we take most of our phone calls so we don't disturb the neighbors. Being in New Delhi-96 means we are right in the thick of things. The parking situation for the trucks is always a bit of a headache around here, but we manage to find a spot eventually. Most mornings start with a lot of shouting on the phone to find out where a driver has reached. It's loud and messy, but that’s transport for you. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a sign that lights up at night. If you come looking for us, you might have to ask around the MIG flats until someone points you to the right door. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now, and the walls are a bit scuffed from moving equipment in and out over the years. It’s not a polished operation, but we know these roads like the back of our hands. We drink a lot of tea and spend too much time looking at maps. It's just a bunch of us trying to keep things moving from a small flat in East Delhi. It's hard work but it keeps us busy.
