SUNNY LIGHTS

Operating out of Old Lajpat Rai Market is a bit of an experience every single day. If you know Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded it gets around Bhagirath Palace. Our spot is at number 286. It’s not a huge space, but it’s packed with lights of all kinds. We deal with bulbs, fixtures, and whatever else people are looking for to brighten up their places. The noise outside is constant, and there’s always someone moving a heavy trolley or shouting for space in the alley. It’s been our base for a long time. Some days are slow, others we can barely keep up with the people coming in and asking questions. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just shelves full of boxes and a small counter where we talk to customers. Sometimes the lights flicker when we're testing them for someone, or a box falls off a high shelf because things are a bit cramped. You get used to it. Being near Bhagirath Palace means we’re right in the middle of the electrical trade. People come from all over for this stuff. We just try to keep the stock updated and handle the orders as they come. It's a lot of manual work, lifting crates and checking glass pieces. We don't do much talking about dreams or anything; we just sell lights and try to head home on time. It’s a honest way to make a living in a very busy part of Delhi.
