Sunderlal Memorial Hospital

Sunderlal Memorial Hospital is located at D-254 in Dilshad Garden. We are very close to the local Gurudwara, which is a major landmark for anyone trying to find us. This place has been around for a good number of years, and the building shows its age a little, but it’s sturdy. It’s a busy environment with people coming in and out of the main doors all day long. We have several rooms for patients and a small area for emergencies. The hallways are often filled with the sound of trolley wheels and staff talking as they move between wards. It’s a community hospital, so we know many of the families who live in the surrounding streets. On the night shift, it gets much quieter, and you can hear the street dogs barking outside. We don’t have the high-tech lobby of the private chains, but we have clean beds and a team that works hard every day. Sometimes the air conditioner in the waiting room acts up, and we have to call the repairman, just like any other old building in Delhi. We handle everything from minor scrapes to more serious stays. It’s a functional, lived-in space where the priority is just getting the job done. The staff knows where everything is, even if the filing system looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. It’s just how we operate and it works for the neighborhood.
