We are located in Mahipalpur, right by the NH Highway, so it gets really loud with all the trucks passing by. We've been at Sterling Tools for a bit now. Most days just start with unlocking the shutters and seeing what needs doing. We keep a lot of different tools here, mostly for people working nearby or folks who stop while driving through. It gets dusty because of the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. My brother and I usually handle everything. We don't have a big fancy office, just a desk and some shelves. Sometimes people get lost looking for us, but if you see the highway signs, you're close. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually go when it's quiet. Work is steady, nothing too crazy happens. We just try to keep the stock right. If someone needs a specific wrench or a hammer, they just come in and ask. It’s a simple setup. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoons, making it pretty hot, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We stay busy enough with the local mechanics and builders who drop in. It’s not a huge place, but it fits everything we need to run. We've gotten used to the sound of the traffic by now. It just feels like home after a while.
