It is loud, crowded, and there is barely enough room for two people to pass each other in the lanes sometimes. At STEAD Electronics India PVt.Ltd., we are right in the middle of all that energy. The market is full of the smell of street food and the sound of rickshaws honking. Our shop or office space is small and packed to the ceiling with boxes. We have to be very organized just to find where everything is kept. It’s not a place for someone who likes peace and quiet. We are constantly talking to people, handling queries, and shifting stock around. The walls are covered in shelves, and the lighting is just whatever we could fit in between the stacks of goods. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team; we just have our spot in Mangal Market where we have been for years. People know us because we are always here, from the time the shutters go up until they rattle back down at night. It is a gritty, hardworking environment where every square inch of space counts for something. It’s just how things work in the old city market, and we wouldn’t know how to operate any other way.
