Stead Electronic Industries is based in Jawahar Nagar at 17 - U / A. If you know the area, you know it’s a place with a lot of character and narrow streets. Our building is one of those older ones that’s been standing for decades. It’s not a modern glass-and-steel place. It’s made of brick and mortar and has a lot of history. Inside, the space is a bit tight. We have boxes stacked up and shelves full of components everywhere you look. It’s definitely a working environment, not a showroom. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any air-conditioned waiting room. Most of the time, the front door is open to let some air in. The noise from the street is always there—the horns, the people talking, the general bustle of Jawahar Nagar. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our staff is small, just a few of us who know the business inside out. We don’t spend time on big meetings or planning for the future. We just focus on the orders we have today. The lighting isn't the best, but we have lamps at the workstations where it matters. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way to run a business, but it’s how we’ve always done it here. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning to night. No one complains much.
