S.S. Automotive Manufacturing Co.

Our workshop is located in Street Number 10 over in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. S.S. Automotive Manufacturing Co. has been operating from this same spot for quite a few years now. The area is always noisy with machines running, and our place is no different. We spend most of our time working on various automotive parts that go into different vehicles. It’s greasy work, and the floor is usually covered in metal scraps or oil, but that is what happens in a manufacturing unit. We have a few machines that keep running throughout the day to meet the orders we get. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees, just a few of us doing the actual production work here. Dealing with metal and dimensions requires a lot of attention. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area and we have to wait, which slows things down, but we manage. People come to us when they need specific parts made to certain specs. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. Most of our work comes through word of mouth or long-time contacts in the trade. It’s a practical business. We show up, do the machining, pack the parts, and send them out. It is hard work in a crowded part of Delhi, but we are used to the pace of Anand Parbat and the way things move here. Every day brings a new set of drawings or parts to finish. We just keep the machines oiled and the work moving.
