Our place is in Mahipalpur, right at Shivam House. It’s a pretty busy area because we’re so close to the airport in New Delhi. Tarun Joshi and the team handle a mix of things here at Spice Mobile Ltd Cum Aviation Logisticsp.Ltd, mostly stuff related to mobile phones and aviation logistics. It sounds like a lot, but really it’s just a lot of moving parts and making sure the crates are ready. The building itself is okay, though the elevators can be slow when we’re in a hurry. Being in Mahipalpur means there is always a lot of dust and noise from the planes and the traffic on the highway. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at tracking sheets. It’s not a quiet office. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs when things get a bit slow. The winter in Delhi is cold, so we usually have a few small heaters going in the corners. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything. It’s just rooms filled with files and people working. Every day is different depending on what’s arriving or leaving. Sometimes the paperwork gets messy, but we sort it out. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work at Shivam House, and deal with the Delhi traffic on the way back home. It's a living and we've been doing it for a good while now.
