Our place is at A/37 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around outside. The name of the company is Sophisticated Industrial Materials Analytic Labs Pvt Ltd, which is quite a mouthful to say when we answer the phone. Most of us just call it the lab. We spend our time looking at materials and doing analysis work. It’s not the cleanest environment, being in Mayapuri, but it’s practical for what we do. The office and lab space are all mixed together mostly. We have some heavy equipment and a lot of glass containers. It’s a lot of manual work and checking data. We aren't a corporate office with suits and ties. We wear work clothes and get our hands a bit dirty sometimes. The lighting is bright because we need to see what we are doing. We've been in this industrial area for a good while, so we’re used to the dust and the sounds of the factories nearby. We don't have any big slogans. We just do the tests and write the reports. It’s a lot of repetitive stuff, but it’s important. Sophisticated Industrial Materials Analytic Labs Pvt Ltd is just us working in a big room in Phase II, trying to get the results right every day.
