Sona Electronics is tucked away on the first floor of RZ A- 47. You have to climb up a narrow set of stairs to reach us. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it. The room is filled with workbenches and soldering stations. There are usually wires and small components spread out everywhere. We spend most of our time hunched over boards or testing different circuits. The lighting could probably be better, but we have those desk lamps that help with the small details. It’s quiet enough up here away from the main road noise. Sometimes the smell of solder is quite strong, so we try to keep the windows open when the weather is okay. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If someone comes in, they usually just walk straight into the workspace. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us who know how to handle the equipment. We started out in this same building and haven't really felt the need to move. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of parts delivered at once. Boxes tend to pile up in the corners. We try to keep things organized in our own way. It’s just a practical setup for doing electronics work. No one wears a suit here. We just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of fixing and assembling things. It's a simple life.
