Solifex Energy

We are located at 145 in the Dsidc Okhla Phase-I area. It’s a very industrial part of the city, so there is always noise from trucks and machines nearby. Our space is basically a warehouse with some desks tucked into the front section. We spend most of the day dealing with energy equipment and heavy parts that come in and out. It’s a dusty place, honestly, no matter how much we try to sweep it. The floors are concrete and have a few stains from over the years. We keep our tools on a big metal rack against the wall. Most of the guys here wear boots and rough clothes because you can’t really stay clean in this line of work. Lunch is usually eaten together on a small table near the entrance. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the number on the door. It’s busy from eight in the morning until we lock up in the evening. There’s always a pile of paperwork on the desk that needs sorting, but we prefer being out on the floor handling the equipment. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in Okhla for a good bit now and know the rhythm of the industrial estate pretty well. It’s just a normal workplace with people doing their jobs every day. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back to break the silence of the machinery. It’s a bit of a trek from the metro station, so most of us ride bikes.
