Sms Exports

Okhla Industrial Area Phase-1 is where we spend most of our time. Sms Exports is located at D-28. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a maze of industrial buildings and small factories. There’s always someone loading a truck or unloading boxes right on the street. Our place is no different. We handle exports, so there’s a lot of packing and weighing stuff going on throughout the day. It’s a dusty place, and the noise of the traffic outside never really stops. Inside, we have our workstations and a lot of storage space for whatever is going out next. We don't have fancy furniture or a big reception area. It’s just a place where work happens. The guys in the warehouse know exactly where everything is, even when it looks like a mess to anyone else. We have our tea breaks around 11 and 4, which is when things slow down for twenty minutes and we catch up on news. It’s a tough area to work in sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s the heart of the industrial side of Delhi. We just focus on getting the boxes out the door on time. We’ve been at D-28 for a while, and we’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. Anyway, it’s just a normal day of work for us.
