Smooth Power is located at B-11/6 in the Jhilmil Industrial Area. It’s one of those older industrial spots where most people know their neighbors. We deal with power backup systems, mainly UPS and batteries. The building we are in is an older one, so it’s got that lived-in, slightly worn-out feel. We have racks and racks of batteries and power units waiting to be serviced or delivered to a client. It’s definitely not a quiet place; there’s always something being tested or a delivery van being loaded up in the alley. We’ve been in Jhilmil for a long time now. The local businesses around this area are our main clients. They need their machines to keep running without any breaks, so they come to us when things go wrong. We don’t do much fancy talk about technology. We just check the voltage and make sure the backup kicks in exactly when it’s supposed to. Our technicians are usually out in the field at different sites, so the office is mostly just two or three of us handling the daily orders and the phone calls. Sometimes the heavy rain causes issues with the old roads around here, making it hard to move stuff, but we usually manage to get the equipment out. It’s a straightforward business. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We just want to do right by the people who have been buying from us for years.
