Skoda (India) Pvt. Ltd. has its office in the Akashdeep Building on Barakhamba Road in New Delhi. We are up on the 6th floor in room 601. Barakhamba Road is always a busy place with a lot of cars and people rushing to meetings. Being in the heart of the city means there is never a quiet moment outside. The building itself has been around for quite some time. We do all the administrative and coordination work for the Skoda brand in India from this spot. The office has a view of the street, and you can see the metro commuters nearby. It is a practical space with desks, computers, and a lot of meetings happening in the small conference room. We do not have cars parked inside the office, obviously, since we are on the 6th floor. It is mostly about the business side of things here. The staff uses the lifts which are sometimes crowded during the morning rush. New Delhi summers are tough, but the office stays cool enough to get through the pile of documents on our desks. We have people coming in and out all day for various approvals and paperwork. It is just a standard corporate setup in one of the older, well-known buildings in the capital. It might look like just another office door, but there is a lot of activity going on inside every single day.
