Silicone Concepts Intl. (P) Ltd.

Our place, Silicone Concepts Intl. (P) Ltd., is located at A-77 in the DDA Sheds area of Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II. It’s an industrial part of town, so there’s always a lot of activity, trucks, and the smell of manufacturing in the air. We work out of one of those standard sheds that’s been converted into our workspace. It’s not a place for suits and ties. Most of us are in work clothes because things can get a bit messy when you’re dealing with silicone materials. We’ve got our machines set up to handle the mixing and molding, and the floor is usually covered in some kind of residue or bits of material. It’s a loud environment when everything is running, but we’ve found a rhythm that works for the team. We’ve been in Okhla for a good while, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit, though the industrial vibe stays the same. We focus on getting the silicone parts made to the right size and shape. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the timing. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have and making sure they get out of the shed on time. It’s a tough, honest way to spend the day, and we’re okay with that. The coffee machine in the breakroom is probably the most used thing in the building.
