Signsutra

Our workshop, Signsutra, is located in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase 2, specifically at D 8/2. Okhla is a massive place with shops and factories everywhere you look. It is easy to get lost if you don't know the block numbers. We focus on making signs, which involves a lot of cutting, sticking, and sometimes dealing with wiring for the lighted ones. The floor is usually covered in bits of vinyl and acrylic scraps. It’s a noisy environment because there is always some saw running or someone hammering something into place. We aren't trying to be anything more than a practical shop that gets signs made. The air in Phase 2 always smells like exhaust and industrial glue, which is something you just get used to after a week. We have a couple of big tables where we lay everything out to make sure it looks right before it goes out the door. It takes a lot of patience to get things lined up, and sometimes we have to start over if the material bubbles or tears. We get orders from all over, and loading the finished boards onto the back of a tempo is always a bit of a workout. The guys here have been doing this for years, so they know the tricks to get it done. It is just a regular industrial unit, nothing special to look at, but we stay busy.
