Tara Bhavan is a busy spot in Lado Sarai. Our office is on the first floor, Chamber No. 108. It’s a decent enough space, though it gets a bit cramped when the new stock arrives. We mostly deal with medical supplies and the paperwork that comes with it. The floors are tiled and cold, and there’s always a hum from the computers. Shwill Medicom isn't some giant corporation with hundreds of people. We’re just a small group trying to keep everything organized. Lado Sarai has its own charm, even if the traffic nearby is a headache during the evening. We have a couple of desks pushed together and some metal cabinets for the files. Most mornings involve checking the inventory and seeing what’s missing. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door. It’s practical. We eat lunch together most days, usually something brought from home in tiffins. The building itself is older, and you can see the wear and tear on the stairs. We don’t mind it. It’s where we work and where we’ve spent a lot of our time over the years. Getting things right for the customers is the main part of the day, even if it means staying late to finish the logs or check the deliveries. It’s just how we run things here at the office, keeping it as simple as we can.
