Our office is up on the seventh floor of the Best Sky Tower in Netaji Subhash Place. If you’ve ever been to NSP, you know how crowded it gets with all the offices and food stalls downstairs. We’re usually up here dealing with all the back-end stuff that comes with moving trucks and cars around. It’s a lot of computers and phone calls, honestly. From the window, you can see the metro line and all the people rushing around. It’s a different kind of pace than being at the physical yards where the vehicles are kept. We’re mostly focused on the auctions and making sure the documentation is right. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the elevators in the building take forever, which is a bit of a pain when we’re in a hurry. We have a small kitchen area where we grab coffee and talk about how the last auction went. We don’t really have a fancy mission statement to show off. We just show up, handle the transactions, and try to keep things organized. The tower is easy to find if you’re looking for 709, but it can be a maze if it’s your first time here. We’ve got a mix of young guys and some older folks who have been in the transport business for decades. It’s just a regular office day for us every day. We usually head out once the sun goes down and the traffic in the tower thins out a bit.
