You can find us deep in the lanes of Chandni Chowk, specifically at 930 Gali Pattal Wali in Maliwara. If you know Nai Sadak, we aren't too far from there. It's a crowded area, but that's where all the saree business happens. We deal with all kinds of sarees every day. The shop is always full of fabric, and there’s usually someone drinking tea while we show the latest stock. Working in Maliwara means you get used to the narrow streets and the constant flow of people looking for traditional wear. We don't have a big fancy showroom with air conditioning that works all the time, but we have plenty of sarees to look at. People come to us because they know we've been in this spot for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We spend our mornings unpacking new arrivals and the afternoons helping folks pick out something they like for a wedding or just for daily wear. It gets really busy during the festival seasons, and sometimes the shop feels a bit small for all the boxes we have. But we manage. We just like selling sarees and being part of the old city market. It’s a lot of work, folding and unfolding cloth all day, but it’s what we do here in Delhi. The colors and patterns always keep things interesting.
