Kumar Trransco

The office for Kumar Trransco is tucked away in H-94 /4 over in Shivaji Park. If you know Punjabi Bagh, you know how the traffic can get around here, especially when we’re trying to coordinate where the trucks are supposed to be. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just a lot of phone calls and checking schedules on pieces of paper that seem to go missing right when you need them. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good bit now. Some days the phones don’t stop ringing and other days it’s quiet enough to actually hear the birds outside. We deal with all sorts of loads, making sure things get from one point to another without too much trouble. Sometimes there are delays because of the weather or a breakdown, which is just part of the transport business I guess. We have a small crew and we all pretty much do everything, from taking orders to talking to the drivers who are out on the road. The walls in the office have a few old maps and some calendars from three years ago that nobody bothered to take down. It feels like home to us because we spend so much time here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the wheels moving and make sure the paperwork is sorted. There’s a tea stall nearby that we visit way too often. It’s just how we get through the long afternoons of logistics and planning.
