Shekhawati Auto Industries

Our place is located in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. We are at T-11 on the first floor in Gali No. 10. Finding this street can be a bit tricky if you are new because there are so many narrow lanes here. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up and down the stairs, which keeps us pretty fit. We make various auto parts here. The shop isn't very large, but we have managed to fit all our equipment in. It's usually quite cramped with materials and half-finished parts laying around. The area is always full of noise from other small factories and the sound of rickshaws outside. We have been working in this same spot for a long time now. It’s mostly family members and a few workers from the neighborhood. We don't have air conditioning or anything fancy like that. We just use big fans to keep the air moving while we work. We drink a lot of tea to keep ourselves going throughout the day. People come to us because they know we've been in the trade for years. We don't do any big promotions. We just do the work and hope for the best. It’s a busy life in Anand Parbat, and there is never a quiet moment during the day. We are just a small part of this big industrial web and we like the routine of it.
