Shantinath Electrico

Bhagirath Place is always crowded, no matter what time it is. We are up on the second floor of Navdurga Market. It’s unit 1801/6. You have to climb the stairs, which can be a bit much if you’re carrying things, but that’s just how these old buildings are. Shantinath Electrico has been in this spot for some time. The market is full of wires and lights everywhere you look. It's a busy atmosphere. Our space is usually packed with boxes. There isn't much room to walk around sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction and people moving around outside. We sit here and deal with whatever comes our way. Sometimes the electricity goes off for a bit, and we just wait it out. It’s part of working in an old market like this. The chai here is actually quite good if you get it from the corner stall. We don't really do much advertising or anything. People mostly find us through word of mouth or they just happen to be in the building for something else. It’s a simple operation. We arrive, we work, we go home. The stairs are narrow, so we try not to move too much stuff at once during peak hours. It's just a regular day-to-day life for us here in the middle of all the chaos of the market. We like it this way.
