You’ll find Shakya Auto India over at 1036 Hamilton Road. We are right in the middle of the Kashmere Gate area, which is always busy and loud. If you know the neighborhood, you know how much traffic passes through here every single day. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, right in the thick of things. It’s a small shop, and it gets pretty dusty with all the cars and people outside. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning or polished floors. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Most of the time, our hands are dirty from the work, and the phone won’t stop ringing. We don’t really have time for big speeches or polished presentations about our values. We just work. People come to us because they know where we are on Hamilton Road. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go around Kashmere Gate, but we’ve managed to stay put. It’s a tough area to work in sometimes because of the congestion, but it’s where we belong. We drink our tea standing up and talk to customers while we’re busy with something else. It’s a real, honest way to make a living. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a corporate image. We are just Shakya Auto India, and we’re here at 1036 whenever there’s work to be done.
