Select International

Select International is situated in the School Block of Shakar Pur at S- 543. Shakar Pur is a crowded part of Delhi, and the School Block area is no exception. It’s full of small shops and narrow lanes where everyone knows everyone else’s business. Our office isn't anything special to look at. We have a few desks, some computers, and a lot of files. Most of our work involves being on the phone or typing away at the keyboard. It can get pretty hectic when multiple things are happening at once. Since we are in the School Block, we hear the kids during their breaks and the general chatter of the neighborhood all day long. It keeps things from being too quiet. We don't have a corporate lobby or a receptionist to greet you. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp through the afternoon slump. The electrical wiring in the building is a bit of a maze, and we sometimes have to jiggle the switches to get the lights to stay on. It’s just part of the charm of working in an older part of the city. We’ve been here for a good while and we like the local vibe. There’s a small shop around the corner that makes the best samosas, and that’s usually where we end up for our evening snack when the sun starts going down.
