Manjit & Company

Manjit & Company has been operating out of Ramnagar in New Shahdara for quite some time now. Our place is pretty basic, just a regular building in a street that has seen a lot of years go by. We do not go in for anything modern or high-tech in terms of the look of the place. It is mostly just rooms filled with the stuff we need for our daily business and a couple of old wooden desks. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small shops, so it feels very local and lived-in. We know most of the people on the block. Our day usually involves a lot of talking to suppliers and checking on the inventory we have stored in the back. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a truck, but we just wait it out or find another way to get things done. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and keep the business steady. It is a lot of manual work and keeping track of ledger books. Most of our customers come to us because they have known us for years. There is no big marketing strategy here. We just open the doors in the morning and see what the day brings. It is a simple life and a simple business in a busy part of Delhi. We just take things as they come and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door.
