Sent Stiphen Hospital

Our unit is on the 3rd floor of the New Building at Sent Stiphen Hospital in Tishazari. It is a specific part of the hospital, referred to as the diloogist unit in the building directory. Because we are in the newer section, the hallways are a bit wider, but it still feels like a busy hospital. We see a lot of the same people every week because of the nature of the work we do here. It creates a bit of a bond between the staff and the patients. We have rows of machines and chairs where people sit for a long time. The windows on the third floor look out over the rest of the hospital grounds. We spend our day checking monitors, looking at charts, and making sure everything is running. It is a very rhythmic kind of work. The staff break room is small and usually smells like coffee. We don't have a lot of luxury here. It’s mostly just white walls and medical equipment. Sometimes the scheduling gets tricky if something needs maintenance, but we manage to get through it. We aren't trying to be anything other than a functional medical unit. The patients bring in their own books or tablets to pass the time while they are here. We know their families and their stories because they visit often. It’s a quiet, serious place, but we try to keep things friendly. We handle the supplies and the records day in and day out. It’s just what we do here in Tishazari.
