Down in Shahdara, specifically at F-555 in Janta Colony, is where we handle all our production work. The Circular Road area is always packed with trucks and rickshaws, so getting materials in and out takes some patience. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a solid industrial space where the machines are usually running from early morning until quite late. The floor stays pretty dusty no matter how much we sweep it, which is just how it goes in this line of work. We deal with various manufacturing bits and pieces, mostly stuff that people don't think about until they need it. The workers here have their routines down, and you can hear the rhythmic clanking of the equipment from the street. We’ve stayed in Janta Colony because it’s where all the action is for small industries. There isn't a reception desk or a waiting lounge; you usually just find us near the back where the actual work is happening. It gets hot during the summer months, but we have the big shutters open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. It’s a practical environment for practical tasks. We don't have time for a lot of talk, as there is always another order to get through or a machine that needs a bit of oil. It’s just how we run things here. We have been in this same spot for years and don't plan on moving. It's just simple hard work and keeping the machines turning.
