If you’re walking through those narrow lanes, you really have to pay attention to the shop numbers. Mallibara is one of those traditional spots that has stayed the same for years. It’s not the easiest place to reach by car, so most people just walk or take a rickshaw. Our spot at 1224 is just like the others around it—small and packed with whatever we are working on. There is a lot of character in these old buildings. Sasi Kumar & Co. has been part of this landscape for some time. We don’t have a fancy website or a huge marketing team. We just exist in this little corner of Chandni Chowk. The air is always full of the smell of street food and the sound of people bargaining. It can be exhausting sometimes, but it’s also very alive. We just open our doors in the morning and wait for the day to start. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a bunch of us doing what needs to be done.
