Our main office is based in Bharat Nagar, right on the first floor of 82-A in New Friends Colony. Even though the name mentions Varanasi, a lot of our daily operations and paperwork happen right here in New Delhi. It’s a small office, mostly filled with files and a few desks where we handle bookings and talk to guests on the phone. Running a motel business means we are always on call. There is always something needing attention, whether it’s a booking error or someone needing directions to the property. We aren't a giant chain with thousands of employees. It’s mostly just a handful of us making sure everything stays on track. The New Delhi office can get a bit hectic during the peak travel seasons. We spend a lot of time coordinating between the local staff and the people staying with us. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it’s completely quiet. We don't spend money on fancy decorations for the office since we are usually too busy working to notice. It’s a practical space for a practical business. We’ve been doing this for a while now and have learned that things rarely go perfectly to plan, but we do what we can to keep the business moving forward. It's a lot of long hours and checking details, but that’s just how the lodging industry is for a small company like ours.
